Globalization

Globalization is a topic that is a hot topic, every body is talking about it. There are different debates, arguments, conferences, opinion and protests, but do we really know what it actually really means and where is it all going on?
Well, Globalization basicly means the trade at a global level, where for one good or service in a country, there are brought good or services from other countries and/or they are futher sold in other countries. I won't tell you that it's bad or good, but I was just thinking about the effects of Globalization, you can do that as well. Figure out what are the effects for you personally.
I just want to point out that 500 companies own 3/4 of the total of international trade.
So, do you think globalization is good or bad?

European Bailout

I was reading the other day about Ireland, a metter of bailing. Well, of course that someone has to help Europe, and Greece, and why not Ireland. We had a bubble economy where we didn't have any real value, only the market value, the speculation in other words.
The issue that is bothering me is that the AMERICANS are the ones who bail us out! They were the first in the recesion, they spent holidays on the house money, they were borrowing money and know they are deciding European Future.

PS: Be social, be simple! Don't make them think, engage them!

How to Reset a Lost iPod Password

There are at least 3 ways I found. I'll post only 2;)
1. Restore the iPod in iTunes

Disadvantage: you lose all your data.

2. Use this steps, I found on wikiHow:

1Plug in your iPod.
2Wait for it to load completely.
3Open My Computer (or computer if on Vista). Make sure you can view hidden files.
4Go to iPod_control.
5Go to the folder named Device.
6If your iPod is locked, there will be a file _locked . Rename the file to _unlocked.
7Safely remove your iPod and it will be cleared.

Disadvantage: you don't find out the code.

SOS! Apple Users I need HELP!!!

I was messing around my iPod and I got screen lock on!
I have no idea what's the password. So I can't play it anymore.
I tried to reset as you would do it for screen freeze, which btw is > and it didn't work.
I tried to connect to the PC and it still doesn't remove the password. I knew that the password was automatically removed every time the iPod was connected to iTunes; seems like.... NOT!

PS:
when you post a blog don't open double "<<>>" with text inside because it will appear as a HTML error.
Google/Blogger speller doesn't have in its dictionary words like iPod, etc.

the Grave Yard of the Brilian Ideas

As I study, go to lecture, do a homework or any other kind of educational activity I always instinctively try to find a way around, or to try the way that I am told it doesn't work and many time that costs me, but I believe that it will actually pay off in long time. Any way, maybe I am not that practical and realistic as I thought, but maybe I am more of the creative guy. I like to do a lot of interesting things and very different in the same time.
Michael O'Leary (for example) was an accountant, but he actually revolutionised the business model in airlines services. Actually he was so creative that my Management lecturer always talks about him and about his innovative idea of making business and Ryan Air.
Anyway, I did a personality test today on PFS, part of work for my current assessment and and it seems I am an explorer. What what means? Means that I seek novelty, crave variety and options, learn by trial and error, NEED INSPIRATION, enjoy discussions and debates, move on new topics quickly and I enjoy exploration, flexibility and discovery.
So... today while I was in MIS lecture, a brilliant idea hit me. It sounds, great and is based on Gillette business model. I find it quite good, and I am not arrogant when i say that. I just make a point that wasn't made by the test results.
The problems with my idea is that it has to go through the Porter's 5 Forces and to be presented in a way that increases and captures the value of this idea, otherwise it will lay down in the grave yard of Cristian's good ideas but will be of no use to me. But it could be maybe easier for someone who can come along with me and help me to capture the value of the idea and share the royalties with me. It would be a shame to find out at the graduation that someone else implemented my idea and i didn't, just because i didn't have a solution for capturing the value.

Am avut vizitatori si in perioada in care nu am postat.
Am invatat un lucru: "if you fail, fail quick" - M Orlovsky. Inca nu am invatat cum sa fac a doua parte a propozitie (fail quick).
